Just 6 km away is the first access point to the large Monterosa Ski area, one of the most spectacular in the Alps, connecting three beautiful valleys: Alagna Valsesia, Gressoney Valley and Val d'Ayas. Culture and tradition
In every season, you can visit the splendid Castel Savoia, the elegant summer residence of Margherita di Savoia, built at the beginning of the 20th century. The castle can be visited with guided tours inside, while in summer you can stroll through the charming botanical garden that surrounds it.
Other cultural attractions in the area include the Alpenfauna Museum Beck Peccoz, which houses trophies and hunting weapons that belonged to Baron Luigi Beck Peccoz.
A few kilometres away, in the nearby village of Gressoney-La-Trinité, you can also visit the Walser Ecomuseum, which houses traditional clothing, objects and evidence of the culture of the Walser people, who settled in Gressoney in the 13th century and originated from the Canton of Valais.
